Hello there! I'm Jari Senhorst, a (game) developer and tech aficionado charting a course into the unexplored frontiers of innovation. Leading my own company, I pioneer advancements in web, game, and software development, along with expertise in DevOps for robust server and infrastructure solutions.
Alongside that, I wear the hats of both CTO & lead developer for Stumble Upon Rumble—a dynamic project where I collaborate closely with creative minds, fostering a collaborative environment. While our in-house team is small and nimble, I orchestrate seamless coordination with external developers as needed, ensuring the project's success through a network of skilled professionals.
Bio
With a passion for crafting captivating gaming experiences, I specialize in game development using Unity and the C# language. My journey in development began with creating 'gamemodes' for San Andreas Multiplayer using the PAWN language—a pivotal stepping stone that ignited my enthusiasm for programming.

While my roots lie in game development, I expanded my skill set to include a versatile range of technologies. Proficient in frameworks like ASP.NET and Next.js, I can seamlessly transition between game development and web solutions. My commitment to effective version control is demonstrated through my reliance on Git to streamline collaboration, troubleshoot issues, and safeguard project integrity.

Throughout my 5-plus years at Sparkling Society, I began as a game developer, contributing to the dynamic intersection of creativity and technology. In the latter 2 years, I transitioned into the role of a DevOps engineer, enhancing my skills in infrastructure and deployment management. This dual role allowed me to bring a holistic perspective to projects, bridging the gap between development and operations.

Beyond my professional role, I've had the privilege of teaching game development at Leidsche Rijn College over multiple years. Each semester, spanning eight weeks, presented an opportunity to guide students through the intricacies of game development using GameMaker Studio by YoYo Games. This experience reflects my commitment to knowledge sharing and fostering the growth of aspiring developers.
